Herbst / Autumn

Auf einen Schlag ist es Herbst geworden. Vor nicht mal 2 Wochen sass ich noch in der Mittagspause ohne Jacke draussen und hab die Sonne genossen, und jetzt ist es kalt, trübe und ungemütlich...brrr! Also schnell die letzten Sommerprojekte beenden (Fotos von Jenny folgen!) und her mit kuscheligen Pullis, Schals, Mützen und Handschuhen. Den Anfang macht Odessa, für die (und einen dazu passenden Schal) ich die Wolle schon vorrätig hatte.

Das Garn, Rowan Cashsoft DK ist wirklich toll, sowas von weich, und es riecht gut!!! Das Muster war leicht zu stricken, und so war die Mütze auch schnell fertig. Schön warm ist sie auch - nur ob ich die Passform an mir mag, weiß ich noch nicht. Ich fand ja schon immer, dass "Beanies" ein bisschen was von einem Eierwärmer haben, und diese hier sieht ganz besonders danach aus, oder nicht?


Autum's here! About 2 weeks ago i enjoyed my lunchbreak sitting outside in the sun, and now it's cold, cloudy and unpleasant. So it's time to finish the last summer-projects (photos of Jenny will follow soon) and get out the patterns and wool for some nice and warm pullovers, scarves, hats and mittens. I finished Grumperina's Odessa in no time - this is a really quick-to-knit-pattern (and it's very easy too). The wool for this small project (and a matching scarf) was already in my stash: Rowan's Cashsoft DK - so soft and it smells good (did i mention, that i'm a member of the ravelry group yarnsniffers?)! The only thing that i'm not sure about is, if i like the fit of odessa. I think it looks a bit like i'm wearing half an eggshell on my head...doesn't it?
